To say that I am pleased with myself, is an underestimate.
It’s been two weeks since I embarked on the serious journey of losing fat, building muscle mass and becoming overall fit to prepare for my Ultimate goal of Getting to the top of Mt. Everest.
Last week when I posted the update, I knew I had made progress based on how I felt, but I had not seen any physical signs of it on the scale yet. I have done my best to stick with the Tim Ferris diet. I have adjusted it a bit to fit my eating schedule and eating habits, and I am here to report that this morning the scaled showed that I have lost five pounds during last week. (Applause, Applause)
I have also increased my daily walks to 90 minutes now. I found out that I had miscalculated the distance I was walking due to measuring the distance of each lap incorrectly, so now I am walking five miles per day in 90 minutes. My goal is to increase it to 120 minutes, and I will keep experimenting and posting about it.
I am following the 100 pushups program consistentaly as well. At the end of week 2 I am having to step down a notch in intensity because I wasn’t able to keep up at the same intensity. It is live and learn. I wil report again next Sunday with my progress, and I will also make a mid-week post from now on to recap my other activities, such as learning about the climbing process and books etc I am reading.
Until then, stay safe and keep dreaming Big!
I love your spirit and what you’re doing! Very inspirational. My wife and I trekked to everest Base Camp last year. Amazingly beautiful. Look forward to reading more posts. Keep up the good work!

Richard,
Thank you so much for your comment and encouraging words. I really means a lot to me. I update this blog at least once a week with the progress on my physical fitness program as I do my main blogging at my other site http://PresentDayNomads.com Feel free to check it out, and leave me a comment there as well.
Thank you, Richard.
I just visited your website. Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing them. I hope you would do a blog describing your experiences. Pictures only show the physical beauty, and don’t really do full justice to the natural beauty. I would love to read and your and Isabel’s thoughts and feelings as you go about enjoying your life.
