The New Direction
When I initially wrote the purpose of this blog, I mentioned that it will evolve as we go on. What I didn’t anticipate was that the evolution will come so soon.
In light of the fact (a late discovery of the fact on my part) that my intent to become the oldest person to climb Mt Everest by getting there on my 75th birthday has already been broken before I could establish it, because Yuichiro Miura reclaimed his title of oldest person to reach the summit of Everest at age 75 years and 227 days on May 26 2008, I have decided to change the intent of this blog from “climbing Mt Everest at any age” to “Living a purpose driven life”.
While I am still passionate about getting to the summit at Mt. Everest on my 75th birthday, it is not the only passion in my life. I love to live a life “full of adventures and revolutions”, as I had written back in 1971 in my Diary.
So, the focus of this blog will now be on life design, the ability to create a life that is individually and personally meaningful. I will be writing about the events of my life as I had intended before, but not just limited to one aspect of my life. Which means the categories will change and more categories will be added, and the blog will continue to evolve, as I do in life. (Hopefully not as frequently as every month or so.)
